Personal investigator Lucas Douglas (Michael Weston), a personality encouraged in part by Shore's appreciate of The Rockford Documents, appears in 3 episodes of Year 5. House at first hires Douglas to spy on Wilson, that has ended their friendship soon after Volakis' Dying (the friendship is subsequently rekindled). House afterwards pays Douglas to
